Asiong32 Turns Two
Asiong32 Turns 2
It’s been another year, I never could have imagine that this blog will go this far from it’s humble beginnings in August of 2010. Many times I’ve tried leaving the blogosphere for good but somehow I’m still here. All those efforts and sacrifices I made and struggles I have to go through just to keep this blog was all worth it. Because I don’t have internet access, what I do is I try to save as much posts as I can to my draft folder and it will be published automatically to a certain date and time. Sometimes I walk a few kilometers during the night to a friends house who has internet access just to publish a post..haha, those were the days. But you know what? A lot of great things happened to me this year in terms of blogging because it opened a lot of doors and new experiences. So here are some of the things that happened to Asiong32 from August 2011 to August 2012…

the day I met my hero
I finally met my idol, my blog hero and now a good friend and even went on an adventure with him at this mountain. it was one of the happiest moment of my life…
I have to admit that even after meeting this famous travel blogger several times and gone on a trip with him, I still remain his biggest fan!
-------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
the mt. cabuyao / mt. sto. tomas adventure:
I’ve been here several times this year. I accompanied several friends and one travel blogger and will be accompanying more travel bloggers soon(I really cant wait to show them around). Which reminds me that I can already make a living and become a tour guide..haha…just kidding!
what I really like about this mountain is the view of baguio city from the top..

been to tondol beach twice
I’ve been dreaming of going here eversince college days. I have a friend in college who lives here and I can still remember how he describes the place and its beauty. after so many years, I finally made it to tondol…and he was right.

the adventurer inside of me
it’s not a question of how much testosterone I have. all I know is that the little kid inside me comes out when I’m out there exploring. whether it be at the mountains, beaches, rivers, waterfalls or an unfamiliar territory. I know someday I might get in trouble for all the stunts or exploring that I do knowing that I usually travel all alone and enjoy being lost somewhere but its all worth it somehow.
my unforgetable adventures this year…
exploring tapuakan river, the cleanest river in the province of la union and taking a bath naked.
after passing by the public area where people usually swim, I went on exploring the river at the very end. I didn’t know how many kilometers I walked but I knew I was already too far from everybody and started taking my clothes off and found a perfect spot where I can swim completely naked. it was a lot of fun!
climbing the 3 story eagle statue at agoo, la union. oh yes I did! thanks to the son of the barangay captain who took my picture.
clearly, I wasn’t satisfied climbing the top of the eagle statue so I tried climbing the big cross at tuba, benguet
the view from the top..
exploring luna, la union. I really fell in love with luna that I came back to pay another visit a few months ago.
exploring fisherman’s wharf and cabalatian island in sual, pangasinan. I cant believe I was able to explore cabalatian island. because I don’t have money to hire a boat. I was able hitch at one of the fisherman in the area. I guess all it takes is guts and a little luck. I spent the whole day exploring the island and its caves and the best part was swimming in its water completely naked.
exploring hydro falls at kennon road and sablan falls revisited.

chasing the sun
here are some of my sunset photos this year. you can view more sunset photos at “chasing the sun” page here in my blog.

a dream come true
this year, my dream of becoming a photographer came true even if I don’t have a camera. I was invited to cover different events and also got the chance to try portrait photography by using some of my friends DSLR.
I WAS ALSO FORTUNATE ENOUGH THAT FOUR OF MY PICTURES WAS ON EXHIBIT AT CAMP JOHN HAY 3 MONTHS AGO.
I love taking pictures as much as I love taking videos. I few months ago I was given the opportunity to make a prenup photo and video. here is the simple pre-nup video I made using my friends camera.
