EAGLE of the NORTH
I have a friend who lives in Agoo, La Union and I told her that I’m going to Agoo to take pictures of the eagle statue along Marcos Hi-way. She said that it’s “boring”…what do you mean boring? where’s your sense of adventure? what if I’ll take pictures of the eagle statue and climb it? btw, the statue is 2 to 3 stories high I guess.
…I finally did
I decided to take my shoes off because the statue was too steep to climb and to be honest I got scared a little bit but it was a lot of fun!
look at the size of the tricycle from the top…
so now I guess all of you are wondering who was taking picture’s of me all along?…it was this guy, I befriended the son of the barangay captain and it was really nice of him to accompany at the top.
during my stay, it was a rare opportunity seeing a real eagle flying around the area. the eagle was just flying in circles for a couple of minutes. it was really nice, how he flies and all. the eagle was there right before my eyes at that very moment. it was really magical.
nice. =)
ReplyDeletewow astig from the top! at tlgang nkasaky k pa sa eagle. parang sa panday 2 lang ah!

do they actually allow one to climb? hehehe...nice! It has been eons since I have since this when buses from Baguio pass through Agoo pa. BTW We did not have a chance to meet in Baguio during the Panagbenga. The traffic was just too draining.
