Mt. Timbac and the Mummies
Mt. Timbac and the Mummies
when dong ho(escapeislands.com) said that he will be going to kabayan benguet and visit the mummies of mt. timbac together with a few travel bloggers I immediately filed a vacation leave so that I could join them. to be honest, I wasn’t able to sleep for one week. I keep thinking about the upcoming trek and most especially meeting my blog hero/idol for the first time (dong ho).
…it was indeed a perfect day to trek
so tired…
after seeing the mummies we spent the rest of the night at the base camp. it was too cold and I wasn’t able to sleep at all. come morning, we waited for the sunrise. that is actually mt. pulag in the background…
after the sunrise, we headed to the summit…
more fun in the philippines…
this is the rest of the team…darwin(trackingtreasure.net), gael(thepinaysolobackpacker.com), kevin(kevinthetravelboy.blogspot.com), dong ho(escapeislands.com) and thanks to our tour guide vince!
a walk to remember…hahaha. walking alongside the legend. priceless. photo by vince.
I enjoyed every single moment of the trek. I missed you guys! See you soon and thank you for adding me as a new member of Pinoy Travel Bloggers Bagets.
if anyone is interested in visiting this place and needs a tour guide, VINCE GAPUZ is the perfect guy.

the mummies are so amazing! maybe it's the cool climate that makes the mt province thrive in mummification.
