its my time off from work and I make it a point that I get to jog early in the morning. my friend sherwin mentioned about an old abandoned resort hotel here in baguio city called acapulco. he is not sure where it is but he said that its near outlook drive so I went on a jog to find it! upon arriving at outlook drive I asked the locals about acapulco and they said that it is located way way down the mountain. I asked myself, where the hell is way way down the mountain? so I decided to walk instead. after asking several people for the right direction and after a 8 km walk, I finally reached acapulco! was it worth? yes because I love old buildings. after reaching the place I felt like I was on the movie “THE SHINING” where I was stuck all alone in a resort hotel. god, I love that movie. I love horror films. and because the place is really old, at one point I felt like im watching one of my favorite tv series “SCARIEST PLACES ON EARTH” and I ended up ghost hunting instead.

now, before I took these pictures I asked permission from the caretaker. he said that after the 1990 killer earthquake the management decided to close the resort instead and I think this property is for sale.

now this is the scariest part…I was the only person here. I was trying to take a picture of the bathroom when suddenly…

notice that there are two shadows in the background. the one on the left is obviously my shadow taking a picture using my right hand and the one the right is another shadow which is obviously not mine. its like a shadow of a girl!

    @palakanton...creepy sya talaga at mahilig ako sa ganitong mga lugar, ewan ko ba pero iba kasi yung adrenaline rush. i have to admit kinilabutan ako ng husto sa may bandang meeting room area at dun sa bar. tumayo lahat ng mga balahibo ko. iniisip ko ngang bumalik dito sa gabi. hahaha.

    kinilabutan ako doon sa picture ng CR. wala ba yung shadow sa right bago mo kinunan?

    @McRICH...empty na kasi yung bar. ang weird nga yung design eh. creepy talaga yung cr lalo na nung trinansfer ko na yung pic sa pc eh dun ko na nakita yung shadow. thanks for leaving a comment. u

    gawd , holy crap dude , goosebumps! its obvious its not your shadow , first of all its taller , its even like floating and parang mahaba un hair , do you think someone died there or someone really is staying in that place , i want to go, lets go if we have some free time .. i hope ill have courage to face my fears this time .

    @hana...yup nilibot ko yung whole place ng mag isa. natakot ako at one point pero mas natakot ako dun sa dalawang asong humahabol sakin dito. yung isang aso eh di ako tinantanan. mas takot ako sa aso eh. hehe

    bigla ko lang naalala itong place na to na kung saa. ngwork and daddy ko as a head waiter... nung time n yun medyo pahina na yung hotel...
    sa isang place ng hotel andun ung museleo dun nkalibing ung may ari ng hotel...
    jan ko din nkasalamuha ung mga igorot na super baet nila kahit dayo lng ako nkikipglaro aq s mga bata... naalala q bigla lahat ng masasayang memories ko nung bata p ako sa pagtira namen diyan sa acapulco hotel.

    I was so thankful for these photos. Now it all gone. This place is where we spent our happy childhood. We have had a place that is so nice despite of its old structures. Now its just memories that we had.

    We used to play there before during my elementary days. (2001-2005) And the place was good and clean back then. We used to play in the conference hall because it's spacious. We don't even bother if it's haunted or not. All we know is that, it's a great place to play 😁 May swings din dati jan at hindi pa ganun ka sira ung mga floorings. So sad talaga napabayaan sha... dating site din yan nung mga my older sa amin hehe old good days. ✨
