LOAKAN ROAD
loakan road is a major road in baguio and it is the road going to camp john hay, baguio economic zone, the airport and philippine military academy. for me this is the nicest road in the city or if not, one of the nicest. but what’s fascinating about this road is, it is “haunted” and I can attest to that! I’ve seen a lot of paranormal sightings in loakan but the worst was two years ago when I was doing my weekly jog and I saw a white lady right next to me. I was terrified, my heart was beating very fast and I didn’t know what to do. I remember my friend Mike who was riding his motorcycle in the middle of the night and out nowhere he saw an old man wearing barong tagalog walking towards him. I think his is worst. hehe
loakan road is temporarily closed to traffic for repairs for almost three months now. after work, I decided to take a walk at loakan road and set on my little adventure.
it looks like 3cpo.
the lost cemetery. somewhere in loakan road you will find the second filipino american cemetery. the other cemetery is located at baguio economic zone.
not a lonely road at all. it was a five kilometer walk from baguio economic zone to the city center and I was surprised to meet some people along the way.
ROAD REPAIRS ARE ALMOST DONE. I hope they will open this road to public soon.
