ROSARIO of BFAR Dagupan to enable the culture of fish in used containers like metal drums that are arranged vertically. the design consumes small land area and optimizes electrical cost to filter and aerate the water. filtration design is simple, cheap, effective and practical, but allows continuous re-use of water. profitability of the system can be maximized when orchard or vegetable farming is integrated with fish-growing. wastewater rich in organic matter is used to water organic crops. fish condo system is the best design for backyard aquaculture projects in urban areas.
