sunset at pugaro suit

pugaro suit is an island barangay in dagupan city pangasinan. although I am from dagupan,  I havent seen the place. if its not for dong ho(escapeislands.com) I wont be having an idea of going here. when I showed some pictures of pantal river here in my blog he mentioned that he stayed somewhere in pugaro. I havent been to pugaro so I was curious about the place. before heading back to manila I decided to pay a visit of this small island barangay.

it was already late in the afternoon and the sun was about to set when I arrived at pantal river mini port, just perpect for another sunset photoshoot!

after a few minutes the boat is already full. headcount of around 25 passengers I guess. I sat in front of the boat, I was so happy coz I have the best seat among the rest. pugaro, here I come…

after 20 minutes of bumpy and wet boat ride we finally arrived…

it was already late in the afternoon when we arrived so I just stayed at the port watching the locals arriving and departing…and besides I don’t wanna miss the sunset. luckily as I was sitting there all alone a bunch of kids came and join me! it was a lot of fun!

I had to leave immediately after a few shots of the sunset. they told me that after 6:00pm I wont be able to go back to the city proper because there aint gonna be no boats anymore. as I left, the sky still looks amazing. again, I was lost somewhere…somewhere in pugaro. the sun, the sky, the sea and the kids..it was all perpfect!

    Amazing! I never thought youll do it. You went there at the right time. If you miss the boat, there's another option through the other side of the island that has a bridge connecting the main Luzon island.

    Diko alam na may bridge dun. Subrang nabored lang ako that afternoon and i was looking for little a adventure na accessible lang bago bumalik sa manila early morning. tas naalala ko yung sinabi mo one time na you stayed at pugaro during your pangasinan trip. Nacurious talaga ako and asked myself why would dong ho go to a small island barangay like pugaro? Although ala n akong time na umikot kc gabi na. Subrang nagenjoy ako sa boat ride kc parang sumakay ka ng rio grande rapids s enchanted kc basang basa ako. Tas yung sunset at ung mga bata. Dats my own little escape. With the escape factor of 6. Hehe

    i like your shot dun sa boat na may silhouette ng bata na may optical flare ng setting sun. It looks magical and fantastic to me :) hhehe

    @biboy...tama ka..gus2 ko rin yung shot na yun. alam mo b kung bakit andun yung batang babae sa taas nung boat? dinidare sya kc nung mga batang katabi ko na sisirin yung ten peso coin na ihahagis nla sa dagat. at kung makuha nya eh sa kanya na. magaling daw kcng sumisid ung bata. btw. panu pala pumunta sa underground cemetery s nagcarlan if galing ako s makati? ok lang kahit bawal kumuha ng pics. makapasok lang ako s loob eh masaya nako. ive been dying to see that place. thats the closest thing that i can get to the catacombs in sicily, italy.

    @lhuloy and mark...salamat sa pagbisita sa munti kong blog. ang sarap palang tawaging fotograper kahit saglit lang pero d ako fotograper. mahilig lng talaga akong magpicture. at ska wala me kamera. celfone lang gamit ko. balang araw magkakadslr din ako. hehe

    @dom...yup, lahat ng kuha ko dito sa blog eh galing lang sa cellphone. makakabili rin ako ng magandang camera soon.

    @emmanuel...paborito ko talagang kunan ang sunset..if you try to backread eh marami kang makikitang sunset pics d2.

    @lhuloy...ok lang yan lhuloy, just make the best of what you have kahit cellphone lang yan..magkakadslr din tayo. hehe

    Antique.. kung saan ang bahay namen ay nasa tapat lamang ng dagat at medyo isolated..:))

    hehe.. Uu maganda talaga.. namimiss ko na nga umuwi don e, busy busyhan kasi..

    24 hours biyahe dyan if magttracking ka lang.. twice ka sasakay ng barko.. I'm sure dami ka makukuhang magandang shots dun pati Bora Island madadaanan mo papunta samen :)

    talaga sir mervs monthly nasa dagupan ka? just inform me if when are you going to dagupan and just in case na umuwi ako eh ill show you around and take pictures! if you wanna visit pugaro eh sa likod ng malimgas market yung mini port...ten pesos lang pamasahe sa bangka...hopefully makapunta nako sa nagcarlan within this month and ill make sure na dadaan ako sa liliw at majayjay...ive heard a lot of things na about those two places as well. thanks...
