waiting on a hero

 

I stumble upon this kid sitting comfortably at the side of the road as if he’s waiting on something or someone.

you see, I was just trying to capture the kid and then suddenly, this horseman showed up and it was perfect!

it was like one of those scenes in a movie.

I picture the scene as if this kid is waiting on a hero…

waiting for his hero.

and I envision the horseman as the hero.

and it was “the lone ranger”.

I can really relate

coz I’m always waiting on a hero to save me.

but sometimes we just have to be our own superhero

or we don’t need to be superheroes at all

and we’ll be ok.

life taught me that.

and I just have to remind myself all the time.
